The switch also supports IEEE 802.3x Flow Control for reliable data transmission. L2+ static routing allows communication between different VLAN segments. This can help manage internal network traffic more efficiently.

Network Security

The DGS-1210 Series includes several security features to help protect business networks. The D-Link Safeguard Engine helps protect the switch from excessive network traffic and flooding.

The series also supports IEEE 802.1X authentication, which can work with external RADIUS servers for controlled network access. In addition, Access Control Lists (ACL) provide more control over network traffic and help protect internal network resources.
