Product Overview

The D-Link DGS-1250-52X is a 52-port Smart Managed Switch designed for business and enterprise networks that need high-speed connectivity, flexible management and reliable performance. It provides 48 × 10/100/1000BASE-T Gigabit ports and 4 × 10G SFP+ ports for high-speed fiber uplinks.

With advanced Layer 2 features, Lite Layer 3 static routing, network security controls and multiple management options, the switch is suitable for enterprise access, network aggregation and small to medium-sized business networks.

Easy Maintenance and Reliable Operation

The DGS-1250-52X is designed to make network maintenance simpler. Its Dual Image and Dual Configuration features provide backup options for firmware and configuration, helping administrators perform upgrades and troubleshooting with less disruption.

A dedicated Console Port and full Command Line Interface (CLI) provide flexible configuration options. Administrators can manage the switch locally or remotely without depending on an Internet connection.

The switch also supports STP, RSTP and MSTP, which help prevent network loops and maintain stable connectivity when the network topology changes.

High-Speed Gigabit Connectivity

The switch offers 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports for connecting computers, servers, IP cameras, wireless access points and other network devices.

For high-bandwidth connections, the DGS-1250-52X includes 4 × 10G SFP+ ports. These ports can be used with compatible multimode or single-mode SFP+ transceivers for fast fiber uplinks between switches, servers and other network infrastructure.

Automatic Voice and Video Management

The DGS-1250-52X supports Auto Voice VLAN and Surveillance Mode, helping administrators manage voice and video traffic more efficiently.

Auto Voice VLAN can identify VoIP traffic and automatically place it in a separate VLAN. This helps isolate voice traffic and allows QoS policies to be applied for better call quality.

Surveillance Mode is designed to simplify the management of compatible IP camera traffic by separating surveillance traffic from regular network data.
